A Camp Stone favorite for Friday morning dancing, “Schar Mitzvah” is actually a quote from Pirkei Avot that describes how to make positive change. In chapter 4 it says that performing one mitzvah will lead to a positive cycle of doing more mitzvot. Mordechei Shapiro uses this message in his song “Schar Mitzvah” to emphasize that even one small act of goodness can start a positive chain reaction that continues to grow bigger and bigger — ultimately impacting the world on a larger scale.
