Thursday 7/11
This years Color War winning team was, (drumroll please)… Rambam!! The captains modeled beautiful sportsmanship throughout Color War, all the way through the end, congratulating each other and acknowledging how hard the other captains and team had worked.
This morning the whole camp had late kimah, as we all needed some extra sleep after last nights presentations and festivities. Our day was a typical day at camp with the usual activities, Sports, Village, Agam, Melechet Yad etc., except, every eidah got a turn to have a peulah of inflatables! Four giant inflatables were set up in Indoor World. There were even huge inflated targets with soft axes that you could throw that stuck via Velcro if they found their mark!
There was one Eidah that did not join us in this activity, Eidah Daled. Why?! Because every year Eidah Daled goes on a massive white water rafting trip, typically after Color War, to help the eidah regroup, recoup and bond once again. For campers who have been here previously, this trip is often looked at as one of the highlights of being in Eidah Daled.
But wait, there’s more! Eidah Daled isn’t the only eidah that got wet today, everyone went to Splash Lagoon, an indoor waterpark that camp rented out! There is an arcade room for those chanichim who opt out of getting wet and of course, snacks galore. What an awesome way to end such a fun and intense week!
Shabbat Shalom U’Mevorach!
Trivia Question: How many water igloos are around the entire camp??
