Monday July 14 – LAST DAY :(
Everyone woke up with that mix of sad to leave machane and all their camp friends AND excited to see family and freinds back at home! Last day means reviewing in shiur time all the different parts of Jewish history that we learned about this month… getting in some last peulot before lunch (some bunks requested favorite ones to have one last time), finishing up any project in the Village that needed finishing and picking up the last round of mail and packages!
The afternoon was for packing and helping friends pack, followed by shlepping and helping friends shlep! Dinner was hamburgers. Yum!
We are so sad this month is over, and we look forward to everyone moving up to the next Eidah (Yakov and Estee let each eidah cheer for their next year’s eidah, during our last mifkad before we board the buses). Let the countdown begin… Another 11 months until Session 1 2026 kicks off!! See you there??
Layla Tov Sugar Grove for the last time this year 🙁
