Last night, we all celebrated the coronation of King Shaul with our LINA – each eidah headed out to an area in the woods around camp and made a bonfire to grill food, followed by lots of singing and fun and a night-out under the stars. Tefillah in the morning was back at camp, and then a regular day of peulot…including something new. Picture this: Slip N’ Slide kickball!! It does not get any more fun!

Tensions rose between David and Goliath today, at the Shekem Shack at 4:30, but b”h David took down the enemy.

The real news here is that we hosted DJ Raphi last night for an amazing hour of singing, dancing and so much fun! He flew in from Israel just to help us create a video with everyone dancing to the song אם תרצי by Chanan Ben-Ari. He sent us the dance moves in a video, a week ago, and each bunk had a peulah to learn them – we were ready!! After we sang that song with the dance moves a few times, it turned into a fun chagigah-styled party with everyone enjoying themselves and being entertained and impressed by DJ Raphi’s energy, creativity and infectious joy. Thank you Yakov and Estee for making that happen! It was such a treat! And Tzevet had their own “after-party” with him for another hour 🙂
