Last Day, Tuesday, August 21
Greetings Machane Stone Families!
As you eagerly await your childrens’ return, please find an update of the last few days below:
On Sunday, the campers returned from a day outing at a local park with boating, ice-cream truck, sports fields, playground, and art projects to another amazing surprise! After a special breakout, the campers were treated to a spectacular fireworks display. Then, they had a blast at a fun carnival with inflatables, cotton candy, sno cones, popcorn, and dunk your madrich (Estee & Yaakov bravely started us off.)
Yesterday, the campers had a morning of their favorite peulot followed by time to pack and hang out with their friends. After a spirited dinner and tefilah, the campers enjoyed a night to connect with their Eidot while watching fun movies – an Eidah-wide sleepover (with very little sleeping 🙂 ). The campers woke up very early for davening, nikayon, breakfast, a final moving mifkad – with cheering for their upcoming Eidah, tearful good-byes (until next year!), and loading on the busses.
On a personal note, it’s been a privilege to provide a portal into Machane Stone. It’s truly a special place that deliberately infuses every child with an appreciation and love for Torat Yisrael, Am Yisrael, & Eretz Yisrael while investing in their personal growth.
Thank you for sharing your children with us and looking forward to seeing them soon! Wishing you a Shana Tova – filled with growth, peace, & health and all of the incredible values that animate Machane Stone!
Signing off,
Michelle Sarna
